Lake Toxaway Country Club is a private, seasonal club with exceptional amenities located in the heart of Lake Toxaway Estates. The club offers members and their guests casual and fine dining, a championship golf course and 20-acre golf learning center, five Har-Tru tennis courts, world-class croquet facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, and a number of special country club activities and events throughout the season.

Lake Toxaway's 18-hole golf course continually receives rave reviews by members and their guests. Completed in 2008, this $9 million course designed by Kris Spence is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The course features bentgrass greens, fairways, and tees with bluegrass roughs. Low handicappers can rely on pinpoint accuracy to avoid the carefully-placed hazards, while high handicappers can enjoy much-appreciated bail-out areas and feel confident playing more conservative shots.

The course is open April through November, depending on weather. The Golf Pro Shop is located in the Toxaway Clubhouse, which is also home to the Toxaway Room restaurant (open for lunch daily in-season), and locker rooms.

In addition to our golf course, Lake Toxaway also offers a 20-acre Tom Fazio Golf Learning Center where players can find an excellent practice venue and one-on-one lessons taught by our golf professionals. Located at our Bear Wallow Springs clubhouse, this facility is home to an impressive pro shop with swing analysis and training programs. After practice, members can gather in the open-air pavilion with twin wood-burning fireplaces for social time.

Lake Toxaway's golf course and learning center are open to club members with golf privileges and their accompanied guests. Guests of the Greystone Inn and renters of homes belonging to full members are also welcome to play the course. Golf carts, rental clubs, and club storage are available at the Pro Shop.
